What Proege does with your information

What this site is

Proege is a free dashboard for writing pins, scheduling them, and posting them to Pinterest. You sign in with your Pinterest account. Proege does not ask for its own password.

What you give Pinterest permission to share

When you log in, Pinterest asks you to approve access so Proege can see your account, see your boards, see your pins, and create pins. Pinterest also requires permission to manage boards before a pin can be posted to one. Proege uses that access to list your boards and to publish the pins you choose. It does not create or delete boards.

What we store on this server

After you approve access, Proege keeps a record for your Pinterest account so scheduled pins can be sent later:

• Your Pinterest user id, username, account type, and profile image
• The access token and refresh token Pinterest returns, and when they expire
• The permissions you approved
• Each pin you save: title, description, link, board, image, status, schedule time, and any error from Pinterest

An uploaded image is stored with the pin and sent to Pinterest when the pin is posted. A public image link is sent to Pinterest as that link.

What we send to Pinterest

When you post now, or when a scheduled time arrives, Proege sends that pin to Pinterest: the board, title, description, link, and image. Pinterest then handles the pin under its own terms and privacy policy. Deleting a pin in Proege removes it from this queue only. A pin already published stays on Pinterest until you delete it there.

Cookies

Proege sets a sign-in cookie so the dashboard knows who you are. It lasts 60 days. During login, a short-lived cookie checks that the Pinterest return visit matches the request you started. Proege does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Logging out

Log out ends the dashboard session in this browser. The saved connection stays on the server so pins you already scheduled can still be posted. To remove the connection and the pins stored here, email us.
